This replica of the Pobjoy depicts it as it appeared after being modified by S.J. Wittman. Witt lengthened the tail to improve the airplane's lateral stability.
Notice two features of the geared Pobjoy Niagra 90 hp engine: the prop shaft is above the engine's center, and the gearing allows the engine to swing a rather large prop.
